Amy is a proud native of the Portland/Metro area in Oregon, where she spent her formative years as the eldest of four daughters. Her childhood was divided between the serene surroundings of Beavercreek, Oregon for the first decade, followed by a decade in the vibrant Tualatin/West Linn region. A strong familial bond ties Amy to her parents and sisters, who reside within a 45-minute radius of each other, fostering frequent gatherings and a deep sense of closeness.

Her journey into adulthood began with meeting her first husband during college, leading to their union in 2001 and the establishment of a family in the Tigard/Beaverton locale. Raising three teenagers – a daughter aged 16, and two sons aged 17 and 19 – Amy faced the challenges of single parenthood following her decision to part ways with her ex-husband in 2016. Transitioning from a 12-year stint as a stay-at-home mom to reentering the workforce, Amy swiftly found her footing in administration and accounting, leveraging her prior experience in the field.

Currently thriving in her role at a family-owned insurance company, Amy's entrepreneurial spirit has also flourished over the years. From ventures in cosmetics, beauty, and health & wellness to crafting and selling hats during her daughter's early years, she has orchestrated a myriad of successful events ranging from weddings to vendor shows and more.

Against all odds, love found its way back into Amy's life when she crossed paths with her now-husband through Instagram just days before Christmas in 2019. Navigating the uncertainties of dating during the pandemic, they sealed their commitment in an intimate backyard wedding in September 2020, blending their families to include an awesome bonus son aged 29.

When not immersed in her professional and entrepreneurial pursuits, Amy finds solace and joy in the realms of abstract painting, photography, shared breakfast dates with her husband, and quality time with her children, family, and friends. Passionate about advocating for women in various spheres of life – from leadership and family dynamics to business and community engagement – Amy has dedicated herself to fostering empowerment and sisterhood among women.
